Irun on the French border
Caught the train to Irun (as in ee-roon). In a nice hostal, picked up our credentials (a camino `passport that we get stamped along the way, it´s a pass into the hostals along the camino). Things are much queiter than in Madrid. We had a great last night at Casa Botin (the oldest restaurant in the world) but Daniel finally crashed half way through the meal (head in his plate fast asleep!). Tomorrow the walk begins, wish us luck.

first night in Madrid
Well we´ve all met up in Madrid and had a fantastic night, so many adventures. Finally got to bed at 4.30 am (Daniel refused to go to bed and went out and still has not had any sleep in about 35 hours). Tapas, drinks, etc - people are so friendly and prices great (pension in the middle of Madrid $A20 per night each! We go to Casa Botin for feast tonight and leave for Irun in the morning - we´re going to hate leaving.

First post!
Joe and Ray have spent the last couple of days in London and are now heading to Paris by train. Jason has been in Paris for a few weeks, flew to Berlin for a show on Wednesday and flew back to join Ben, Joe and Ray on Friday. They then catch an overnight train to Madrid on Monday. Daniel and I fly out for Madrid on Monday night!
